HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE EXCEPT FOR GUSTER WHO SUCKS AT BETTING!
It is becoming painfully apparent that this year has gone into a full blown free fall and frankly I don’t know if we’ll be able to get the toothpaste back into the tube. The losing streak extends to 7 consecutive weeks and I can honestly say that I have never experienced such a slump in my betting career. My core betting principles have seemingly failed to capture the essence of predictable outcomes and I now feel more lost than a fart in a tornado. While I may be frustrated and confused, I will continue to throw shit at the wall until something sticks. For that reason I have decided to pick all three thanksgiving NFL games and let’s see if we can drum up a little turkey day magic. Either way I will be filled with all the fixins and there is nothing that can ruin this glorious day for me. A man with nothing to lose is very dangerous. Gobble gobble bitches.
JOSH CHALLENGES:
NYG +6.5 @ CHI
Single game challenge this week was a real nail biter between these low caliber teams. Both have really struggled so I decided to take a chance on the Giants who should be refreshed off of the bye week and getting 6.5. This game was really no fun to watch at all, as expected. The Giants grabbed the early lead 7-0. Setting a new personal record, Josh already dipped into his reverse jinx tactics, declaring defeat. The Giants would hold off the Bears until the third quarter when Chicago finally broke through and open up a 19-7 lead. With the lead sitting at 12 in the 4th this was a perfect spot for a backdoor cover if the Giants could find the end zone late. It was at this point I hit Josh with some return fire reverse jinx negativity. Danny Nickels would get his opportunity with 9 minutes although backed up all the way at their own 3 yard line. A combination of Jones and Barkley runs would move the Gmen into Chicago territory and ultimately left them with a 4th & 18 at the 23 yard line. Jones would seize his opportunity finding Golden Tate in the back of the end zone to recapture the cover in glorious fashion. Challenge all tied up.
