Now the party is getting started! As anticipated, last week’s point will be rolled over to this week for some double point action. All according to the plan. Despite what Josh said, I made no promise to challenge the full slate every week, only to make him earn it every week. I felt last week wasn’t a good spot to strike so I played it safe and kicked the can down the road. I will not force picks and allow him the opportunity to grab points off of my impatience. That is the benefit of being the challenger and I will use that to my advantage all season long.

Time to put up or shut up. I came in with a plan and have executed it well so far, now we find out if it will pay off. The big Monday night showdown is where we will see who can grab the lead. A 3-0 lead would be a big statement to start the season and would turn the heat up on Josh as a rookie picker. I like this game to be a slugfest with both of these AFC heavyweights going punch for punch. While the game may be in Baltimore, you know the Chiefs have had this game circled on the calendar since the schedule came out and I can’t pass up on a 3.5 point cushion. Just too many points for the defending world champs.
