Oh what a week!
Upsets galore across out beautiful Wasted Talent Fantasy Football League. In total we had 4 out of 5 games where the lower ranked team from our Week 1 Power Rankings defeated a team ranked higher than them.
Recap:
Albany Fantasy Football Team def. Steve Hasn’t Lost Yet (Now Steve Hasn’t Won Yet) 127.39 – 115.06
Sutton To Believe In def. Is this my year? 117.75 – 110.81
Josh Allen IS Vaccinated def. Jafarison Jafar Jafarison-Lamar 149.31 – 138.58
Frank’s Process def. Blockhead Boys 144.73 – 139.12
The only non-upset came in dominating fashion as our #1 team Kittles and Blitz dropped the highest point total of the week (169.12) to defeat Chalupa Batmans.
A few key injuries and one big signing could change the landscape of the league in the coming weeks. Jerry Jeudy had a big game but was taken out with an ankle injury and and will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks for Frank’s Process. Luckily for Frank he has a lot of depth at the Flex position. Ryan Fitzpatrick injured his hip as well prompting Is this my year? to drop him like a bad habit. Only a back up QB, Fitzpatrick doesn’t leave a huge gap for Donald but the loss of Raheem Mostert does. Then 49ers starting RB underwent season-ending knee surgery so Don will have to find another answer at running back. Finally, OBJ being inactive for Jafar leaves a question mark at Flex for Jafar moving forward, along with his missing link at RB2. Josh Allen IS Vaccinated will get a boost in the coming weeks as it looks like Latavius Murray will be the go to back in Baltimore, solving Keegan’s issues at RB2 for now.
